Virginia Business Law

Business Law Lawyers
Leesburg & Tysons Corner, Virginia

Clark & Allen, PC conducts a highly focused law practice, providing business counseling, transactional, and litigation services. Business and technology law are at the center of what we do, but to effectively serve our clients the firm concentrates on a set of complimentary legal practice areas, including corporate, intellectual property, employment, non-profit organizations (including 501(c)(3) charities), real estate and land useopen space and historic rehabilitation tax credits, construction, as well as business succession planning, individual estate planning and probate administration.

Unlike many large firms and typical “general practice” firms that try to be all things to all people, we intentionally limit our firm’s practice to enhance our ability to provide the sophisticated, responsive and cost-effective representation on which our clients have come to rely.

Experience You Can Trust

These values make us especially suited to advise and represent small to medium-sized, closely-held businesses, entrepreneurs and professionals. In addition to a wide variety of traditional “brick and mortar” businesses, the firm’s clients include software developers, contractors, film producers, real estate ventures, medical and dental practices, and charitable foundations. From individuals and family-owned businesses to publicly-traded corporations, our clients come to us because of our focus on practical, business-oriented solutions.

January 2009 - Jeffrey Heninger joins Clark & Allen to head its intellectual property practice and bolster its business transactions and counseling team. Before joining Clark & Allen, Jeff practiced with one of the largest international law firms in the world, Reed Smith, LLP, and managed intellectual property matters for Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Combined Shows, Inc.

July 2008 - Jim Allen merged his successful practice with Clark & Associates and the firm has been renamed Clark & Allen, P.C. Rory Clark said, "We are thrilled to add Jim's state and federal court litigation and business counseling experience to the strengths offered by our firm. This is a good move for the firm, but it is a great move for our clients." Jim Allen reported, "After working alongside the Clark firm as "of counsel," I am convinced that the complete integration of our practices is really a case of two plus two equaling more than four. The combined experience, skill, and resources available to the clients of each of our respective practices can be delivered more smoothly than ever from a single firm. I have found a group of talented and ethical lawyers that share my philosophy of putting the client first. I couldn't be happier about the merger."
